FORPHOR, derived from the English words "fortune metaphor," is a design studio that combines modern knitting techniques and aesthetic designs to incorporate traditional Chinese patterns filled with auspicious meanings into everyday products. We aim to metaphorically envision our lives through the integration of these patterns.
Established in Shanghai, China, FORPHOR Studio utilizes contemporary and internationally renowned knitting techniques, along with sustainable design principles, to create a series of Chinese patterned landscapes.
We give traditional Chinese aesthetics a fresh perspective, awakening the dormant cultural spirit, reviving it, and reintegrating it into our daily lives. This is the vision of "FORPHOR" that we aspire to depict.
